‘Sgt. Pepper’s’ Turns 50: TTF

This week on the Taste the Floor show I put together a tribute program celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ groundbreaking album, “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” which was released in 1967, this week. I also played a few tracks from “Revolver,” an amazing album (and my personal fave Beatles album), which was released a year before “Sgt. Pepper’s,” and had an influential role the album.
Also, on the program, I spoke about two features I saw in the WSJ about the 50th anniversary. Here is the review of three new books on the album: “Guaranteed to Raise a Smile” as well as the review of the anniversary box set that is being released by Capitol Records: “‘Sgt. Pepper’ Turns 50”
