Ginned Up Headline Number Whatever …
Another inaccurate, ginned up headline by the dolts at CNN.com who don’t understand the lawmaking process but at least it made a lot of people look and click this morning, which is the business model for online news.
Donald Trump isn’t ignoring law with this Tweet – he is expressing an opinion about the need for a law. Flag burning laws and Constitutional amendments have been argued about and proposed since the late 1960s (did the CNN.com poster even read the article before writing the headline?)
And, no, I don’t agree with a flag burning or desecration laws or amendments; so don’t throw that at me. I have no problem with anyone burning the flag unless they try to burn mine and then, they’ll have to deal with the consequences of that foolish action. It is amusing though that everyone is in a tizzy about something that lost in 2006 by a single vote in the U.S. Senate. SMH …
Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag – if they do, there must be consequences – perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!
