I’ve been working on stories about Shirley Ann “Tippy” McBride for more than eight years now. Here is the latest update. It is a bit puzzling why investigators would want random pictures from around the city in July 1984. What are they looking for? Interviewing and reinterviewing classmates, people she knew, friends, etc., all make sense. Collecting personal photos from the time period? Are they hoping for a needle in a haystack, like in the Netflix series “I Will Find You,” based on the Harlan Coben novel?
